History
Abraham Law Offices (ALO) was founded in 1957 by William "Bill" Abraham. For nearly 70 years, ALO has been providing continuous representation to clients in Franklin County, throughout Ohio and across the country. Bill began representing Amway Distributors (nka Amway IBOs) in the early 1970s and then the Amway Distributors Association (the trade association representing all North American Amway IBOs) in the early 1980s. The Amway Distributors Association is now known as the Independent Business Owners Association International, Inc. (the "IBOAI"). Rick Abraham, Bill's son, joined Bill in that representation when he became a licensed attorney in early 1987 and continues that representation today.
ALO is based in Columbus with attorneys licensed to practice in Ohio, Michigan and Washington. The firm's areas of practice include civil litigation in small business planning, licensing and administrative law, criminal and traffic defense and family and juvenile law. RICK ABRAHAM
As the Managing Partner of Abraham Law Offices, Rick has his hands on every case handled by the firm, even if he is not the primary attorney working on the matter.
Rick's father, Bill Abraham, started ALO in 1957, and the firm still carries on the values of justice and preservation of civil liberties on which Bill founded the firm. Rick is corporate counsel for the IBOAI (the trade association representing all North American Amway IBOs), and is very experienced in corporate litigation (state and federal) as well as upper level criminal defense. Rick is also knowledgeable in small business matters and liquor licensing matters.

SAMANTHA LEWIS
Samantha helps small businesses with all their needs to get up and running. Samantha appreciates the urgent matters her clients often face and strives to balance that urgency with protecting her clients’ best interests. Her services include establishing business entities, securing liquor permits and other licenses, USDA matters, and drafting and negotiating commercial leases and contracts.
Samantha’s experience includes representation of the Independent Business Owners of America International, Inc. (“IBOAI”), the largest direct selling trade association in North America. She additionally has experience in criminal and civil litigation, and administrative law.
